Applications

  • “A” orifice: process and heating applications
  • “B” orifice: drip and tracing applications

Operating principle

A welded stainless steel bellows senses the trap inlet pressure and temperature and controls the condensate discharge of the trap. The trap discharges condensate and follows the saturating steam curve closely within 10 °F (6 °C).

Design features

  • Excellent thermal efficiency
  • Fail-open
  • Resistance to corrosion and hydraulic shocks
  • Self-draining and freeze-proof
  • Venting of air and non-condensable gases
  • Excellent back pressure capability
  • Fast response to temperature change
  • Close following of saturation line
  • Compact and light weight; easy installation
  • All stainless steel trap
