Applications

Winterization applications with condensate discharge to atmosphere or open drain systems.

Operating principle

A single, curved bimetal disc senses the trap inlet temperature and provides an on-off discharge at around 200 °F (93 °C), regardless of inlet pressure.

Design features

  • 100% thermal efficiency
  • Subcooled on-off condensate discharge
  • Self-draining and freeze-proof
  • Resistance to corrosion and hydraulic shocks
  • Excellent back pressure capability
  • Venting of non-condensable air and gases
  • Compact and light weight; easy installation
  • All stainless steel trap
