Renew Bimetal Traps
Our bimetal tracing and drip trap in a renewable body: replace the sealed trap capsule in line in five minutes, with no pipe unions needed.
- Max pressure
- 300 psi (21 bar)
- Max temperature
- 500 °F (260 °C)
- Body rating
- ANSI Class 300
- Sizes
- 3⁄8" – 3⁄4" NPT

Applications
Tracing or drip applications with condensate discharge to atmosphere or to condensate return systems. Best suited for piping systems where in-line renewability is essential.
Operating principle
A series of bimetal discs senses the trap inlet temperature and pressure and controls the discharge temperature of condensate at around 50 °F (28 °C) below the saturation temperature of the inlet steam.
