Simpler tube tracing installation
The PT Series 46-TT Tube Tracing Bimetal Trap is specifically designed for steam tracing applications. Both ends of the trap come fitted with compression tube fittings, which simplifies installation in several ways:
- Removes the need to install tube-to-male NPT fittings in the field.
- No more crimped or bent tubes from the high torque required to tighten piped joints in the field.
- Eliminates two unnecessary steam leak paths at the pipe joints between tube and pipe fittings, and the need for messy Teflon tape or pipe sealant.
- Leak-free trap installation takes less than five minutes.
Design features
